Welcome to my blog! I hope you are as excited to read this as I am to write about my adventures this summer. I want this to be a space where I can honestly share with you about my experiences - the good, the bad, and the funny! I know that this summer will be a challenge for me, but it is a challenge I am ready and willing to accept!
As of today, I have 37 days until I leave on a jet plane for Uganda. I will arrive in Uganda on Wednesday, May 26th and be there for 10 weeks. Needless to say, I have a LOT to do between May 24th and now. I have 1 more week of class to attend, 2 last papers to write, and 1 final exam to take before my 2nd year of Divinity School is officially over. The Divinity School's annual Broadway Revue show is this coming Wednesday. I have an appointment with the travel clinic this coming Thursday to get my shots and prescriptions. I still have to oversee 2 dorms of freshmen students and make sure they move out in a timely and semi-orderly fashion. I want to see family and friends before I leave. And I need to pack.
Thank you for showing interest in my life and in my summer. Much love to you all.
